Job Overview

As a Business Development Manager at K.MOJA LTD, you will be instrumental in driving the company’s expansion by identifying new business opportunities, forging relationships with potential clients, and devising strategies to meet revenue targets. This role is pivotal in ensuring the company remains competitive in the investment banking and venture capital sector.


Key Responsibilities

1. Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, potential opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Analyze data to develop insights that will inform the company’s business development strategy.

2. Lead Generation

  • Develop and implement strategies to generate high-quality leads.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to fuel the company’s growth.

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all business development inquiries.

4. Strategic Planning

  • Collaborate with senior management to formulate long-term strategic plans that align with the company’s goals.
  • Develop and implement action plans to achieve set targets.

5. Proposal Development

  • Create compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the company’s value proposition to potential clients.

6. Budget Management

  • Oversee the budgeting process for business development initiatives.
  • Ensure that all projects are executed within the allocated budget.

7. Collaboration

  • Work closely with other departments, including marketing and operations, to ensure the seamless execution of business development strategies.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to evaluate the financial viability of new ventures.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management or a related field.
  • CPA-K or an equivalent certification is required.
  • A Master’s Degree is considered an added advantage.

2. Professional Experience

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in business development, preferably within the investment banking or venture capital sectors.

3. Key Skills

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships that drive business success.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex business challenges.
  • Strategic thinking and planning abilities to set and achieve ambitious goals.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
