Unlock Sustainable Growth with Sistema.bio

Welcome to Sistema.bio, where we’re committed to reshaping our world by championing renewable energy, curbing greenhouse gas emissions, and advancing regenerative farming practices. Our vision is a world in which waste is a resource, and farmers are empowered and productive. In fact, smallholder farmers contribute over 80% of our food, and our mission is to make their lives more sustainable, productive, and healthy.

About Us

We are a leading global social enterprise with a presence in Latin America, India, and Africa. Our unique offerings include financing for waste-to-energy technology, easy-to-install biodigester systems, outstanding after-sales service, and a decade-long partnership with every farmer. Our products stand out for their user-friendliness, durability, and top-notch quality.

Our Impact

With a dedicated team of around 500 professionals spanning the globe, we’ve already reached tens of thousands of farms in 30 countries. Our aim? To reduce 1% of global greenhouse gas emissions and revolutionize food systems. By the end of 2025, we plan to install biodigesters for a million people in areas lacking access to clean, renewable, and cost-effective energy.

Our accolades speak volumes: We’re the 2019 Ashden Clean Cooking Awards winner, a Schwab World Economic Forum Fellow, and a United Nations SDG 7 leader. Sistema.bio proudly holds a BCorp certification and boasts recognition from prestigious organizations like the Buckminster Fuller Institute, Ashoka, Endeavor, and many others.
