Position Overview
We are looking for experienced and dedicated Bus Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for driving, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to safety. As a Bus Driver at Modern Coast, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our passengers.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe Driving: Operate buses in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Passenger Interaction: Provide excellent customer service to passengers, answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Route Management: Follow designated routes and schedules, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of the bus, reporting any issues to the maintenance team.
- Safety Procedures: Implement first aid procedures and emergency protocols when necessary.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger numbers.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other drivers and staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid Driving License: Classes ABCE and NTSA PSV license mandatory
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional driving experience
- Education: Minimum KCSE Certificate
- Certificate of Good Conduct: Must be valid
- Age Requirement: 35-55 years old
- References: Recommendation from previous employer and three referees
- First Aid Knowledge: Working knowledge of first aid procedures
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
