Role Overview

BM Security is looking for security professionals to join our Guarding Section for deployment at the beginning of October 2024. If you meet the qualifications and are eager to contribute to ensuring safety and security across various locations, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrolling assigned areas to maintain safety and security.
• Monitoring surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activities.
• Checking and authorizing access to secured areas.
• Maintaining detailed records of incidents and reporting any security breaches.
• Responding promptly to security emergencies.
• Interacting professionally with members of the public, colleagues, and law enforcement agencies.

Qualifications and Requirements

To qualify for these positions, you must meet the following criteria:

• Form 4 leavers (Higher qualifications are welcome but not mandatory).
• Men must be at least 5 feet 5 inches tall, and Ladies must be at least 5 feet 3 inches tall.
• Kenyan citizens aged 26 to 40 years for men and 25 to 35 years for ladies.
• A KCSE Certificate is required as the minimum education level.
• Possession of a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (issued within the last year) or the willingness to apply for one.
• Physically and medically fit, with good eyesight and hearing.
• Proficiency in English and Kiswahili, both oral and written.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• A clean work history (if previously employed), supported by a reference letter from the last employer.
• Post-secondary training is an added advantage.

• School Leaving Certificates
• Post-secondary Certificates & Examination Certificates (if applicable)
• Valid Kenyan National ID
• Other testimonials, if applicable

Important Notes

• Training: Successful candidates will undergo 3 weeks of security officer training.
• Accommodation: Candidates must arrange their own accommodation and upkeep during the training period.
• Further briefings will be provided to selected candidates after the recruitment process.

Recruitment Process

Recruitment is ongoing daily from Monday to Saturday, between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM.

1. Nairobi Headquarters (Located along Jamhuri Road, off Ngong Road, on the way to Nairobi International Show Ground).

• Mombasa
• Kisumu
• Kisii
• Eldoret
• Nakuru
