Are you a dynamic individual looking to kickstart your career in finance? BIMAS Kenya is on the lookout for capable and result-oriented individuals to join our team as Loan Officers for a 3-month internship. As a Loan Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in our Operations Department, reporting directly to the Branch Manager.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:

  1. Diploma in Business Management, Business Administration, or Cooperative Management
  2. Minimum of C plain at KCSE
  3. Age 23 and above

NB: Loan officer internship opportunities are available in various field offices (not at the Head Office). Please indicate your preferred area in your cover letter application.

Current Vacancies: Loitoktok, Taita Taveta, Kitui, Kitengela, Nyahururu, Utawala, Maua, Marimanti, Kiambu, and Nkubu.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Outreach and Promotion: Spearhead outreach activities to connect with potential clients and promote our financial services.
  2. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction.
  3. Loaning Process: Manage the end-to-end loan process, from application to disbursement, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  4. Other Duties as Assigned: Contribute to various operational tasks to support the smooth functioning of the branch.
