Job Overview

The Audit Intern will support the audit team in performing various audit tasks and activities. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in auditing and financial analysis while working closely with experienced professionals. The intern will assist in evaluating financial statements, performing data analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Audits: Assist in conducting audits and reviewing financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare Documentation: Support the preparation of audit documentation and reports.
• Data Analysis: Utilize intermediate Microsoft Excel skills to perform data analysis and assist in audit tasks.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and clients to gather information and resolve issues.
• Process Improvement: Assist in identifying areas for improvement and recommending enhancements to processes and controls.
• Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by the audit team.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a business-related course (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Business Administration).
• Professional Certification: CPA Level 3 (Certified Public Accountant) or in progress.
• Technical Skills: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation and formula application.

Skills and Competencies

• Financial Knowledge: Understanding of financial statements and auditing principles.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and generate insights. Experience in data analytics is an added advantage.
• Internship Experience: Prior internship or coursework related to auditing or financial analysis.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with audit software and tools.
