Key Responsibilities:

1. Audit Planning – Aligning with IT Objectives:

• Collaborate with the IT Audit Manager to execute a risk-based annual IT audit plan.
• Apply the company’s IT audit methodology in planning and conducting audits.

2. Audit Execution – Assessing Technology Risks:

• Support the execution of technology-focused audit projects across different business lines.
• Identify and assess risks related to technology and IT management processes in a business context.
• Develop audit tests to achieve audit objectives.

3. Systems Audit – Ensuring IT Controls:

• Examine internal IT controls and evaluate their design and operational effectiveness.
• Identify areas of exposure to risk and collaborate with the IT Audit Manager to devise remediation strategies.
• Conduct general and application control reviews for computer information systems of varying complexity.

4. Reporting – Communicating Audit Results:

• Assist in drafting comprehensive audit reports and other relevant documentation.
• Present audit results, proposed recommendations, and control process improvements to executive management.
• Prepare audit finding memoranda and working papers to support audit completion and conclusions.

5. Recommendations Follow Through – Enhancing Risk Management:

• Assist in establishing a follow-up mechanism for agreed-upon recommendations from IT audits.
• Monitor and ensure corrective actions are taken by the management based on audit findings and recommendations.

6. Stakeholder Management – Building Trusting Relationships:

• Develop valuable and trusting relationships with internal business partners.
• Deliver efficient audit work and provide suggestions to enhance risk management.
• Offer an enterprise-wide view of technology risk management.

7. Data Analytics – Leveraging CAAT’s:

• Collaborate with the audit team in data analytics using Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAAT’s).

Minimum Qualifications & Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field.
• CISA qualified (or currently pursuing).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit/finance with at least 1 year in IT Auditing.
• Working knowledge of an ERP environment.
• Experience in working with CAAT’s.
• Strong understanding of IT audit methodologies.
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• In-depth awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
