Primary Responsibilities

Running the Show

• Oversee Core Banking Operations: Manage End of Day (EOD) tasks, generate business reports, plan system resources and capacities, handle Way4 EOD, and ensure Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
• Security and Compliance: Define and enforce policies for system access, controls, and procedures to safeguard our banking applications against data loss, corruption, financial loss, and unauthorized access.
• Project Support: Provide crucial support during projects, testing phases, and post go-live activities.
• Resource Allocation: Be in charge of assigning ICT Run Technical Resource personnel.
• Scalability and Security: Ensure that our applications are scalable, secure, and comply with industry standards.
• Innovation Advocate: Identify opportunities to enhance our products and drive their implementation.
• Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee that all banking applications and services meet regulatory requirements and security standards.
• Collaboration and Integration: Collaborate with external vendors and partners to seamlessly integrate third-party solutions when needed.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and nurture a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Person Specifications

• Educational Background: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Extra Edge: A Master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
• Experience: Bring at least 10 years of relevant experience in IT and Banking to the table.

• People Skills: Showcase excellent people management and negotiation skills.

• Industry Insight: Previous experience in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance segments is highly valued.
