Position Summary

As an IT Intern at AGF, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing IT support to our dedicated team. Your responsibilities will include:

Major Roles and Responsibilities

  • Problem Solving: Responding to user requests, troubleshooting problems, and devising effective solutions.
  • System Maintenance: Installing and configuring computer hardware and applications, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Support: Providing support through procedural documentation, reporting, and assisting with new application roll-outs.
  • Efficiency: Prioritizing and managing multiple open cases, recording activities, and maintaining inventory records.
  • Technology: Staying up-to-date with the latest tech advancements and testing new technologies.

Academic and Professional Qualifications Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications like CCNA, Microsoft Certifications, CompTIA A+, Network+.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Windows Operating Systems.
  • Networking: Strong skills in networking systems and computer problem-solving.

  • Organized: Good planning and organization skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
