Role and Responsibilities

As an Accounts Intern, you will be responsible for:

• Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Account Reconciliation: Conducting account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
• Data Entry: Entering financial data into accounting software
• Invoicing: Assisting with the generation and processing of invoices
• Budgeting: Supporting the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies
• Audit Support: Assisting with internal and external audits
• Other Duties: Performing other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

Essential Qualifications:

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Initiative: Proactive and willing to take on new challenges

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous internship or work experience in accounting or finance
• Software: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
