Role and Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

1. Reconciliation Pack Preparation: Prepare a comprehensive reconciliation pack of total treasury accounts for the internal control department.
2. Account Reviews: Review reconciliations of treasury product accounts.
3. Monthly Income and Expense Checks: Conduct monthly reviews of income and expense items to ensure accuracy.
4. Maturity List Management: Ensure the completion of the maturity list of funding products.
5. Management Pack Preparation: Support the preparation of the management pack, including:
   • Income and expense items for the treasury and funding branch.
   • Reconciliation of treasury products and other general ledger items.
   • Budget analysis (comparing budgeted vs. actual figures) and informing the manager of notable discrepancies.
6. Interbank Interest Management: Ensure accurate monthly interbank interest payments and receipts.
7. Bank Communications: Maintain communication with banks regarding facilities, balances, opening new accounts, etc.

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in BCOM, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the banking sector with exposure to supervisory roles.
