We are urgently looking to fill multiple vacancies on a casual basis with skilled workers for various technical roles in our manufacturing facility.
Positions Available
1. Masons (10 Positions Available)
Key Responsibilities
- Mix and prepare cement, bricks, and mortar for construction.
- Cut and shape materials to meet structural specifications.
- Assist in building chimneys, walls, frames, and walkways.
- Interpret technical drawings and follow job-specific instructions.
- Maintain tools and ensure workspaces are clean and safe.
- Lift and carry bricks, concrete blocks, and stones as needed.
- Design and create cabinets for specific projects.
- Complete all stages of woodwork as required.
Qualifications
- Experience working in manufacturing or construction sites.
- Proven ability to work with cement, bricks, and other materials.
Key Competencies
- Integrity and professionalism in the workplace.
- Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
2. Carpenters (41 Positions Available)
Key Responsibilities
- Install wooden structures including roofing frames, partitions, and joists.
- Design and install fitted furniture and drywall.
- Add fixtures like door handles, locks, and hinges.
- Select and cut lumber based on job specifications.
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and other professionals.
- Read blueprints and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Create scale models of products or buildings as required.
Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or construction sites.
- Familiarity with carpentry tools and techniques.
Key Competencies
- High professional integrity.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
3. Steel Fixers (20 Positions Available)
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret building plans and engineering drawings.
- Cut and bend steel bars using hand and power tools.
- Lay out steel bars, mesh, rods, and frameworks for concrete structures.
- Fix reinforcement bars and prepare them for welding or clipping.
- Mix and pour concrete into molds, ensuring proper setting and placement.
- Hoist steel bars and reinforcements into position.
- Create and complete scale models of products or buildings as required.
Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or construction with steel fixing.
- Expertise in steelwork, including cutting, bending, and reinforcing.
Key Competencies
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
