Available Vacancies
We have the following positions available, totaling 12 vacancies:
1. Clarifier Attendant (1 Position)
Role Summary
As a Clarifier Attendant, you will be responsible for managing the clarifier operations to ensure optimal juice clarification. Your role is crucial in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Chemical Preparation: Prepare chemicals for juice clarification as per the approved concentrations and SOP.
- Continuous Monitoring: Ensure continuous mud settling and removal without disturbing the clarifier.
- Juice Quality: Monitor juice levels and clarity, maintaining optimal PH and temperature for effective clarification.
- Equipment Performance: Monitor and report on equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure efficient operation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols for the protection of personnel and equipment.
- Housekeeping: Maintain excellent housekeeping standards in the clarifier station.
- Reporting: Write detailed shift reports and communicate any critical issues to the shift supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Background: Certificate in Food Science, Sugar Technology, or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing processes similar to sugar production.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of clarifier operations and equipment maintenance.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to monitor and manage chemical concentrations and juice quality effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent reporting and communication skills to coordinate with the shift supervisor and team.
2. Crystallizer Attendant (1 Position)
Role Summary
As a Crystallizer Attendant, you will monitor and control the crystallizer and pug-mill levels, ensuring efficient curing of massecuite.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Levels: Keep track of crystallizer and pug-mill levels.
- Flow Control: Manage the flow of massecuite to pug-mill during curing.
- Communication: Notify pan floor on which crystallizer to strike to.
- Lubrication: Ensure lubrication of massecuite for effective curing.
- Safety and Housekeeping: Maintain safety standards and good housekeeping.
- Reporting: Report any deviations or issues to the shift supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Background: Certificate in Food Science, Sugar Technology, or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing processes similar to sugar production.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of crystallizer operations.
3. Injection Pumps Attendant (1 Position)
Role Summary
The Injection Pumps Attendant will maintain water levels in various tanks and ensure the efficient operation of process service water pumps.
Key Responsibilities
- Water Level Maintenance: Maintain water levels in service tanks.
- Pump Operation: Operate process service water pumps and injection water pumps.
- Safety and Housekeeping: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain good housekeeping.
- Reporting: Report malfunctions and critical issues to the supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Background: Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Sugar Technology, or relevant training.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in similar manufacturing processes.
- Technical Skills: Good understanding of pump operations.
4. Junior Centrifugal Operator (1 Position)
Role Summary
As a Junior Centrifugal Operator, you will manage centrifugal machines to separate and wash molasses mother liquor syrup from sugar crystals.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Operate centrifugal machines.
- Inspection: Conduct routine inspections on fugal screens and machines.
- Safety and Housekeeping: Ensure safety standards and maintain good housekeeping.
- Reporting: Coordinate with the crystallizer attendant and report any issues to the shift supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Background: Certificate in Food Science, Sugar Technology, or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in similar manufacturing processes.
- Technical Skills: Good understanding of centrifugal operations and equipment.
5. Junior Pan Boiler (1 Position)
Role Summary
The Junior Pan Boiler will carry out pan boiling and crystallization operations, ensuring correct sized sugar crystals are produced.
Key Responsibilities
- Pan Boiling: Manage pan boiling processes.
- Quality Control: Ensure the quality of sugar crystals.
- Safety and Housekeeping: Maintain safety standards and good housekeeping.
- Reporting: Communicate any issues to the Pan Boiler and Pan Manager.
Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Background: Diploma or Certificate in Food Science, Sugar Technology, or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in similar manufacturing processes.
- Technical Skills: Good understanding of graining techniques and pan boiling skills.
6. Mud Loader (1 Position)
Role Summary
The Mud Loader will ensure the effective withdrawal of mud from the mud bin and maintain the cleanliness of the tractor and mud trailer.
Key Responsibilities
- Mud Withdrawal: Monitor and maintain healthy mud bin levels.
- Safety and Housekeeping: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain good housekeeping.
- Reporting: Report critical issues to the shift supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in similar manufacturing processes.
- Technical Skills: Ability to maintain tractor and trailer cleanliness and functionality.
7. Rotary Vacuum Filter Operator (1 Position)
Role Summary
As a Rotary Vacuum Filter Operator, you will operate the rotary vacuum filter and ensure efficient filtration processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Filter Operation: Operate rotary vacuum filter as per SOP.
- Monitoring: Maintain mud tank levels and monitor spray water.
- Safety and Housekeeping: Ensure safety standards and good housekeeping.
- Reporting: Report critical issues to the shift supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Background: Certificate in Food Science, Sugar Technology, or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in similar manufacturing processes.
- Technical Skills: Good understanding of rotary vacuum filter operations.
