Roles and Responsibilities

Director: Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources

  • Lead Strategic Initiatives: Develop and implement policies and programs to promote environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.
  • Manage Resources: Oversee the management of natural resources, ensuring their sustainable use and conservation.
  • Coordinate Projects: Lead various environmental and energy projects, ensuring alignment with county and national policies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and community groups to advance environmental goals.
  • Research and Development: Conduct research and provide recommendations on emerging environmental and energy issues.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations, and prepare detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Senior Superintendent Water

  • Water Systems Management: Oversee the operation and maintenance of water supply systems.
  • Project Implementation: Coordinate the design and implementation of water projects.
  • Quality Control: Ensure water quality standards are met and maintained.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with local communities and agencies to manage water resources effectively.

Planning and Design Officer

  • Urban Planning: Develop and review urban planning proposals.
  • Infrastructure Design: Create detailed designs for infrastructure projects.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local and national regulations.
  • Project Management: Manage the planning and execution of design projects.

Geologist
