Primary Purpose: Serve as RSC Africa’s primary focal point with the Refugee Processing Center (RPC) on matters related to the functionality and development of START, including the use of Processing Guides and Local SOPs. This position is dedicated to RPC-directed activities and relies on support and cooperation from RSC colleagues to advance training, system testing, processing guidance, local SOP review/drafting, and business process changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the functionality and further development of START.
- Lead training sessions for RSC colleagues.
- Collaborate on system testing and processing guidance.
- Review and draft local SOPs.
- Implement business process changes.
2. Senior Project Assistant – Social Transformation

Primary Purpose: Support the implementation of the Early Recovery and Livelihoods Enhancement Project (Matumaini) in Marsabit, Kenya. This project includes mobilizing and educating farmers to undertake livelihood and resilience activities such as crop production, pasture management, farmer-managed natural regeneration, beekeeping, village savings and loans associations (VSLA), water and soil conservation, and beadworks in Laisamis Sub County.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mobilize and educate farmers on livelihood activities.
- Support crop production and pasture management initiatives.
- Facilitate water and soil conservation efforts.
- Promote village savings and loans associations (VSLA).
- Coordinate beekeeping and beadworks activities.
