About ICRAF
World Agroforestry (ICRAF) is a leading center of scientific and development excellence dedicated to harnessing the benefits of trees for people and the environment. Our organization operates globally, with headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya, and regional programs across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. By leveraging the world’s largest repository of agroforestry science and information, we develop practices that ensure food security and environmental sustainability. ICRAF’s research allows governments, development agencies, and farmers to utilize the power of trees to enhance farming livelihoods sustainably.
On 1 January 2019, the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and World Agroforestry (ICRAF) merged to provide evidence and innovative solutions to scale up investment in sustainable development. At ICRAF, we are committed to promoting diversity and creating a dynamic, collaborative environment where creativity and innovation thrive.
