Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Sous Chef, you will be expected to take on various responsibilities that ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and uphold the quality standards of the hotel. These include:

  • Leading and supervising the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Assisting in the development of new menus and innovative dishes that align with our hotel’s luxurious offerings.
  • Monitoring food preparation and ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.
  • Managing kitchen inventory, ordering supplies as needed, and ensuring stock levels are maintained.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Culinary degree or relevant certification from a recognized institution.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position within a high-end or 5-star establishment.

We are searching for an experienced Chef De Partie to support the kitchen’s daily operations, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Chef De Partie will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes in line with the hotel’s standards.
  • Managing a specific section of the kitchen and ensuring that all food produced meets the highest quality levels.
  • Collaborating with the Sous Chef and Junior Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Demi Chef to join our team at Kwetu Nairobi. If you are passionate about preparing high-quality food and want to develop your culinary skills in a renowned luxury hotel, this is your opportunity. The Demi Chef will support the senior kitchen staff in the preparation and delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

As a Demi Chef, your responsibilities will include:
