We are hiring for multiple roles including Housekeeping Trainees, Floor Supervisor, and Guest Room Attendant. 1. Housekeeping Trainees – Key Responsibilities:

As a Housekeeping Trainee, you will undergo a comprehensive 12-month in-house training program designed to equip you with the skills needed to excel in the hospitality industry. This role provides invaluable exposure to daily housekeeping operations at a leading resort.

  • Participate in all aspects of housekeeping, including room cleaning, maintenance of public areas, and laundry services.
  • Adhere to the resort’s high standards of cleanliness and ensure rooms are well-maintained for guests.
  • Assist in organizing housekeeping supplies and equipment.
  • Support the housekeeping team in daily operations to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Gain hands-on experience in managing guest room cleanliness and presentation.
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

2. Floor Supervisor – Key Responsibilities:

The Floor Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the housekeeping team. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in hospitality who can manage, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain high service standards.

  • Supervise the housekeeping team to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained across all guest rooms and public areas.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and other assigned areas.
  • Manage housekeeping schedules, delegate tasks, and ensure all team members follow the resort’s protocols.
  • Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services.
  • Ensure that housekeeping supplies and equipment are always available and well-maintained.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports on housekeeping activities and resolve any operational challenges that arise.
  • Train new housekeeping staff and ensure all employees follow safety and sanitation guidelines.

3. Guest Room Attendant – Key Responsibilities:

As a Guest Room Attendant, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent guest experiences by ensuring the highest standards of room cleanliness and presentation.

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, ensuring that all aspects meet the resort’s strict cleanliness standards.
  • Replenish guest amenities and ensure that rooms are fully stocked with necessary items.
  • Report any maintenance issues to the relevant department to ensure that guest rooms are in top condition.
  • Ensure all rooms are ready for check-in and respond to guest requests in a timely manner.
  • Assist in keeping the housekeeping supply rooms organized and fully stocked.
  • Provide exceptional service by paying close attention to detail and ensuring that guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Housekeeping Trainees:

  • Education: Minimum KCSE Certificate with a grade C or above.
  • Age Requirement: 19-26 years old.
  • Basic computer literacy is required.
  • Willingness to learn and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

2. Floor Supervisor:

  • Education: Diploma or Certificate in Housekeeping & Laundry Operations or any other relevant hospitality course.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in housekeeping, ideally in a busy 4-5 star hotel.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English (both oral and written) is mandatory.
  • Computer Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Additional Skills: Any foreign language will be an added advantage.
  • Certification: A certificate of good conduct is required.

3. Guest Room Attendant:

  • Education: Certificate in Housekeeping & Laundry Techniques or a related hospitality course.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in housekeeping, particularly in a 4-5 star hotel.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English (oral and written).
  • Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computer operations.
  • Additional Skills: Any foreign language will be a bonus.
  • Certification: A certificate of good conduct is required.
