Job Summary:

We are currently recruiting for three vital positions: ICT Officer, Library Assistant, and Plumber. Each role is integral to the efficient functioning of our institution and contributes to our mission of providing exceptional legal education and support services. Key Responsibilities:

ICT Officer (Grade KSL 6):

  • Manage and administer the School’s network infrastructure, including servers, routers, and switches.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to safeguard the School’s digital assets and sensitive information.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify technological needs and propose solutions to enhance productivity and streamline processes.
  • Conduct regular system audits to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the field of information and communication technology.

Library Assistant (Grade KSL 8):

  • Assist in the organization and maintenance of the School’s library collection, including cataloging, shelving, and inventory management.
  • Provide support to library patrons, including locating materials, answering inquiries, and assisting with research projects.
  • Assist in the implementation of library programs and services, such as orientations, workshops, and outreach activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of library transactions, including loans, returns, and overdue materials.
  • Collaborate with other library staff to ensure a welcoming and conducive environment for study and research.
  • Stay updated on library technologies and resources to provide effective assistance to users.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of library policies and procedures to enhance user experience and accessibility.

Plumber (Grade KSL 9):

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with building codes and regulations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, such as leaks, clogs, and malfunctions, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems and prevent costly repairs.
  • Coordinate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure timely completion of plumbing projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, labor hours, and equipment maintenance.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and standards to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in plumbing technology and techniques.
