Key Responsibilities

Safe Transportation:

  • Drive staff and authorized partners safely to their destinations.
  • Maintain a clean and well-serviced vehicle.

Vehicle Maintenance:

  • Coordinate with the line manager for vehicle repairs and servicing.
  • Ensure compliance with the Government Traffic Act.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Safeguard all contents in the assigned vehicle.
  • Report incidents and adhere to organizational rules and regulations.

Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle work tickets and fuel vouchers.
  • Assist in loading and offloading light-weight project materials.

Logistical Support:

  • Provide logistical support during trainings and workshops.

Required Qualifications

Education and Professional Qualifications:

  • Minimum secondary education (KCSE).
  • Clean driving license – Category B (Light vehicle), Category C (Light Truck), or Category D (PSV).
  • Basic computer skills are an advantage.

Experience:

  • Driving experience of more than three (3) years, preferably in a Non-Governmental Organization.
  • Experience in driving in challenging terrains.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance and repair skills.
