Introduction

Hyatt Regency Nairobi Westlands is excited to announce an exceptional opportunity to join our team of 170 casual staff for a prestigious 8-day event! Positions Available

  • Food and Beverage Service (130 positions)
  • Commis Chef (15 positions)
  • Kitchen Stewards (15 positions)
  • Housekeeping Attendant (10 positions)

Key Responsibilities

Food and Beverage Service

  • Provide exceptional service to guests in dining areas.
  • Assist with setting up and clearing tables.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the service area.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing needs promptly.

Commis Chef

  • Assist with the preparation and cooking of food.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
  • Support senior chefs in various kitchen tasks.
  • Follow recipes and presentation standards as directed.

Kitchen Stewards

  • Ensure the kitchen area is clean and organized.
  • Wash and sanitize kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Assist with the storage of food and supplies.
  • Support kitchen staff in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Housekeeping Attendant

  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Ensure all guest areas are clean, tidy, and well-stocked with supplies.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to the management team.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to guest requests.

Qualifications

General Qualifications:

  • Enthusiastic and Positive Attitude: Approach your role with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
  • Ability to Work Effectively in a Team Environment: Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Prior Experience in the Hospitality Industry: Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory; all candidates are encouraged to apply.
