Responsibilities:
As an intern at Save the Children, you will have the opportunity to contribute to various aspects of our work, including programme development, technical support, knowledge management, logistics, safety, health, IT, finance, and administration. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the development and implementation of programme strategies.
- Assisting in technical projects related to innovation and technology for development (T4D).
- Contributing to knowledge management initiatives to capture and share best practices.
- Assisting in supply chain management activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Supporting safety and security assessments and measures for staff and programs.
- Assisting in health-related projects and initiatives, including nutrition and healthcare delivery.
- Providing IT support and troubleshooting for office systems and networks.
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of tech hubs and innovation spaces.
- Assisting in financial management tasks, including budgeting and financial reporting.
- Supporting HR and administrative functions, including recruitment and employee relations.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant degree program (e.g., International Development, Computer Science, Business Administration).
- Strong interest in the respective field of the internship.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (for administrative and technical roles).
- Flexibility and willingness to learn.
