Position Overview:

Are you a driven Actuarial Analyst with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the consulting, insurance, or reinsurance sector? If so, we invite you to be a part of our Actuarial Consulting unit, contributing your valuable expertise to our team.

Reporting to: Manager, Insurance Consulting

Key Responsibilities:

1. Research Contribution

  • Actively contribute to research initiatives within the assigned Line of Business.

2. Data Management

  • Conduct data cleaning, validation, and efficient management for various projects.

3. Actuarial Analysis

  • Perform actuarial valuations, reserving, and engage in product development and pricing activities.

4. Recommendations

  • Prepare insightful recommendations based on thorough analysis and modeling results.

5. Project Management

  • Assist in project management for ongoing client assignments.

6. Client Engagement

  • Engage in client communication, fostering strong relationships.

7. Reporting and Presentations

  • Play a pivotal role in crafting substantial portions of client reports, presentations, and thought leadership pieces.

8. Mentorship

  • Provide guidance to junior colleagues, nurturing their growth.

9. Business Development

  • Extend support to business development activities.

10. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Participate in cross-departmental team activities, ensuring organizational needs are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated progress with professional actuarial exams – minimum of 3 actuarial exams passed.
  • Profound understanding of regional financial regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Exhibits high motivation, a team-oriented mindset, adaptability, initiative, self-drive, and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Advanced proficiency in IT, data management, and modeling skills; proficiency in R and/or Python is advantageous.
