Key Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst at Kapa Oil, you will:
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to summarize trends, patterns, and actionable insights across all data streams.
- Deliver weekly and monthly insights to improve operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.
- Performance Metrics
- Identify and monitor KPIs across departments, including sales, supply chain, production, and marketing.
- Provide real-time analysis of performance against targets and recommend corrective measures.
- Predictive Analytics
- Use advanced statistical techniques and predictive modeling to forecast market trends, consumer behavior, and operational needs.
- Present quarterly insights and forecasts to senior management.
- Data Integrity & Management
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across systems.
- Collaborate with IT to implement databases, data collection systems, and analytics strategies to optimize statistical efficiency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with department heads to understand data requirements and deliver tailored insights.
- Lead cross-functional training sessions to enhance data literacy within the organization.
- Process Improvement
- Identify and define new opportunities for process improvements.
Qualifications and Skills
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Statistics.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data models, database design, and development.
- Expertise in SQL, SAP HANA, MY SQL, and programming languages such as Python, XML, SPSS, SAS, JavaScript, ETL frameworks.
- Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, and open-source reporting tools like Superset.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Effective team collaboration to meet cross-functional data needs.
