Key Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst at Kapa Oil, you will:

  1. Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards to summarize trends, patterns, and actionable insights across all data streams.
    • Deliver weekly and monthly insights to improve operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.
  2. Performance Metrics
    • Identify and monitor KPIs across departments, including sales, supply chain, production, and marketing.
    • Provide real-time analysis of performance against targets and recommend corrective measures.
  3. Predictive Analytics
    • Use advanced statistical techniques and predictive modeling to forecast market trends, consumer behavior, and operational needs.
    • Present quarterly insights and forecasts to senior management.
  4. Data Integrity & Management
    • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across systems.
    • Collaborate with IT to implement databases, data collection systems, and analytics strategies to optimize statistical efficiency.
  5. Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Partner with department heads to understand data requirements and deliver tailored insights.
    • Lead cross-functional training sessions to enhance data literacy within the organization.
  6. Process Improvement
    • Identify and define new opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Statistics.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in data models, database design, and development.
  • Expertise in SQL, SAP HANA, MY SQL, and programming languages such as Python, XML, SPSS, SAS, JavaScript, ETL frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, and open-source reporting tools like Superset.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Effective team collaboration to meet cross-functional data needs.
