Key Responsibilities

• Plan transportation routes to ensure delivery efficiency, taking into account factors such as distance, traffic, and time constraints.
• Optimize routes to minimize fuel consumption, reduce transit times, and enhance overall cost-effectiveness.
• Communicate with drivers, providing detailed instructions on routes, schedules, and any specific delivery requirements.
• Monitor driver progress and respond swiftly to any disruptions, such as traffic incidents or other issues affecting the delivery schedule.
• Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and tracking tools to oversee the real-time status of shipments and vehicles.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and quick resolution of any transportation issues.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications:

• High school/secondary education or equivalent.
• Experience as a Tally clerk, inbound documentation clerk, or in dispatch coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong understanding of logistics and dispatch management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certificate/Diploma in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Purchasing & Supply Chain, or a related field.
• University degree (desirable).
• Holder of a valid driving license (desirable).
