Role Overview

Reporting to the IT Business Intelligence Manager, we are seeking a fast-learning and dynamic Intern who will work alongside the IT and software teams. The intern will take on various ad hoc tasks and activities, aiming to alleviate the software team of repetitive tasks while providing a valuable learning opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Support BI Manager: Work under the guidance of the Business Intelligence Manager to support repetitive tasks associated with the BI team.
• Business Reporting Dashboards: Setup and maintain business reporting dashboards using Power BI.
• Data Support: Assist with data cleaning and data engineering.
• Ad Hoc Tasks: Handle ad hoc requests as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience working in an IT environment supporting business operations.
• Skills: Proactive, collaborative, organized, curious, problem-solver with a “can-do” attitude. Good presentation skills and the ability to gather feedback from leadership-level staff.
• Mindset: Not afraid to fail and eager to learn and grow from experiences.
• Environment: Exposure to or preference for working in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Job Description

As a Business Intelligence Intern, you will be a crucial part of our IT team, focusing on supporting the Business Intelligence Manager with various tasks. Your primary responsibility will be to help set up and maintain business reporting dashboards using Power BI. Additionally, you will assist with data cleaning and data engineering tasks, ensuring our data is accurate and useful. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

• Business Reporting Dashboards: You will be responsible for setting up and maintaining business reporting dashboards using Power BI. This will involve understanding the needs of different departments and creating dashboards that provide valuable insights.
• Data Cleaning and Engineering: Supporting the team with data cleaning and data engineering tasks will be a crucial part of your role. You will help ensure our data is accurate, up-to-date, and ready for analysis.
• Ad Hoc Requests: As an intern, you will handle various ad hoc tasks as needed, providing support to the BI team and other departments.

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in an IT environment, supporting business operations.
