Key Responsibilities of the Finance Intern

As a Finance Intern, you will support the finance team by ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Your key duties will include:

Revenue Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation of payments received across multiple medical centers and digital platforms. Identify and resolve discrepancies while maintaining accurate financial records.
Inventory Management: Assist in stock taking, identify inventory variances, and update inventory records to ensure compliance with company policies.
Audit Preparation: Gather and organize financial documentation to assist in internal and external audits. Ensure all data is accurate and readily available.
Financial Reporting: Compile monthly financial summary reports covering revenue, stock, and financial data, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Compliance Assurance: Verify that all financial records align with company policies and industry regulations.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Branch Accountant and finance team to strengthen the company’s financial accuracy and reporting systems.

Qualifications and Skills Required

To excel in this finance internship, you should possess the following:

Required Qualifications:

Recently completed a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
CPA certification is an added advantage.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Prior experience in finance-related tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, financial reporting, or auditing will be an advantage.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a team-player mindset.
Ability to analyze financial records, identify errors or discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
