Key Responsibilities

As the Monitoring & Evaluation Manager, you will:

  • Strategic M&E Leadership: Develop and oversee the implementation of SRC’s M&E framework, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals and donor requirements.
  • Data Management & Analysis: Design and oversee robust data collection tools, manage impact evaluations, and ensure high-quality, reliable data.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Lead baseline, midline, and end-line evaluations, delivering actionable insights to enhance program outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with donors, consortium partners, and internal teams to align M&E practices with reporting standards.
  • Capacity Building & Knowledge Management: Train staff on M&E frameworks, facilitate learning mechanisms, and document best practices for continuous improvement.
  • Team & Budget Management: Supervise M&E teams, manage budgets effectively, and ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Data Visualization & Reporting: Leverage advanced tools like Power BI and Tableau to present data-driven program insights effectively.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: At least 5+ years in M&E roles, including managerial responsibilities in a development or NGO setting.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications in M&E, Data Analytics, or MEL frameworks (e.g., Results-Based Monitoring).
  • Skills:
    • Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills, with expertise in tools like SPSS, R, or STATA.
    • Proven ability to design and implement M&E frameworks that enhance project impact.
    • Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Hands-on experience in stakeholder engagement, donor reporting, and data visualization tools.
